Tip: Click the Lesson Files button to expand the extra lesson options in the editor:

  • Font Styles:

Edit Text

  • Edit ‘Studied Language’ text: Add/Delete/Modify a lesson's text in a block format.

    • Set each line of text as a ‘paragraph header’ or ‘Sentence’:

  • Split existing lines of text:

  • Copy and Delete all lines in a lesson: Copy all lines of text in your lesson (Studied Language text) to your computer's clipboard and delete all your copied lines of text in the first editable textbox:

Tips: Edit your copied text in your preferred computer program (Word, TextEdit, Notepad, etc.) and re-paste it into your target/studied language text container. Or use Rooster's Patch text feature to streamline your bulk lesson edits.

  • Target/Studied language in the First text box: The first text box container is set for your target/Studied language.

Rooster Tips and Extra Features:

  • Turn your lesson into a singular block of text: If you want to turn your lesson into a singular block of text, use the ‘Sentence Everything’ button and then change the first line (not title) back to a paragraph.

  • Separate every line of your text: If you want to separate every line, use the ‘Paragraph Everything’ button.

  • Translate your lesson after you format your text: Use the Master LingQ tool and Rooster Editor to enhance your LingQ lessons.

  • Generate Audio in Firefox: The ‘Generate Audio’ button only works on Firefox**. The output will play on Chrome but won’t save.

  • Concat/Copy Text function: To use the Concat/Copy Text function, save the output to a notepad file and then use the ‘Patch text’ button.

  • Edit Description:
